Andrea is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center, bringing more than a decade of psychiatric nursing experience to her work with patients. She provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and prescribing services, including controlled medications when clinically appropriate. Andrea earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisville and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bellarmine University. Her background includes experience in both private practice and community mental health settings, where she has developed a strong foundation in comprehensive, compassionate psychiatric care.
Andrea works with children, teens, and adults ages 6 to 65 and older, supporting patients through a wide range of mental health concerns. Her clinical focus includes mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and adjustment-related challenges. She approaches care with warmth, professionalism, and a deep respect for each patient’s unique story. Andrea believes that effective treatment begins with listening, understanding the whole person, and developing a plan that reflects each patient’s individual needs, goals, and strengths.
With an integrative and patient-centered approach, Andrea strives to create a supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their care. She brings both clinical knowledge and thoughtful leadership to her practice, helping individuals and families navigate treatment with clarity, confidence, and compassion. Outside of the office, Andrea enjoys spending time outdoors, being with family and friends, and cheering on her favorite college sports teams.
