Dr. Dougherty was born and raised in the Midwest. In 2004, she obtained her master’s degree in clinical psychology and her doctorate degree (Psy.D.) in 2006. Since that time, she has worked in a variety of settings, including acute psychiatric hospitalization, an adolescent residential facility, community mental health, private practice, public and parochial schools, and long-term care facilities. For the last several years, she has primarily focused on psychological evaluations and testing. While she specializes in psychological evaluations of children in state custody and for parental capacity evaluations, she also focuses on evaluations for diagnostic clarity along with compensation and pension examinations for military veterans.
In her free time, Dr. Dougherty enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, boating, and walking her dog.
Patient Age Ranges: Elders (65+), Adults (20-64), Teens (14-19), Pre-teens / Tweens (11-13), and Children (6-10)
